Watch out for look-alike sites
We have not recorded any look-alike sites for CG FinTech. That does not mean none exist.
A clone firm copies a real broker’s name, licence number and branding to take deposits. The register shows the genuine firm, so the surest check is the contact details: if the website, email or phone number you were given is not the one on the register, treat it as a clone. Accounts and costs
Account types and costs not yet checked.
Cost per lot = typical EUR/USD spread × $10 + round-turn commission, for one standard lot (100,000 units) in busy hours. Swap and other fees are extra. Trading costs explained
Leverage and margin
Leverage lets you open a position bigger than your deposit, so losses grow as fast as gains. The caps below are the most CG FinTech allows; you can always use less.
100%When your equity falls to 100% of the margin your open trades use, you get a warning and usually cannot open new trades.
Stop-out
10%When your equity falls to 10% of your used margin, the platform starts closing your trades, usually the biggest loser first, until the level recovers.
CGTrade (Mauritius) Limited is on the FSC Mauritius register as an investment dealer (SEC-2.1B), licensed since 19 July 2019
States negative balance protection in its FAQ, and the client agreement says client money is segregated
Cent and Standard accounts have no minimum deposit; ECN commission is published ($3 per side)
Watch out for
The global client agreement is with CGTrade LC Limited, registered in Saint Lucia (company 2025-00724); that is a company registration, not a licence
Says it holds UAE Capital Market Authority licence 20200000446; we could not find a CG FinTech company on the CMA's licensed companies register on 2026-10-20
The ASIC licence it displays (AFSL 236783, Corner Global AU Pty Ltd) covers wholesale clients only, so it does not protect retail traders
Leverage up to 1:1000 with a 10% stop-out
Overview
CG FinTech is a CFD broker offering forex, indices, metals, energies, crypto and stocks on MetaTrader 4 and 5. It has three live accounts (Cent, Standard and ECN), copy trading and a demo account. It describes itself as the official trading partner of Adelaide United, an Australian football club.
Regulation and safety
The website shows three licences without naming the companies that hold them. We checked each one:
FSC Mauritius (C118023669). The FSC register lists CGTrade (Mauritius) Limited as an SEC-2.1B investment dealer since 19 July 2019. The register does not show licence numbers, so we could not match the number itself.
ASIC (AFSL 236783). ASIC’s licensee data lists this licence for Corner Global AU Pty Ltd, limited to wholesale clients.
UAE CMA (20200000446). We found no matching company on the CMA’s licensed companies register.
The global client agreement is with CGTrade LC Limited, a Saint Lucia company (2025-00724). That is a company registration, and CG FinTech cites no licence for this company. The client may therefore not be covered by either licence above. Our broker regulation guide explains why this matters.
Costs
Cent and Standard accounts have no commission and spreads from 1.6 pips. ECN quotes from 0.1 pips plus $3 per side, or $6 a round lot. Typical spreads are not published. See forex trading costs.
Platforms and tools
You can trade on MetaTrader 4 or 5, on desktop and mobile, and use copy trading, an economic calendar and a learning centre. Compare the two platforms in MT4 vs MT5.
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits are free by crypto, international wire, local transfer (CNY, KRW, IDR, INR) and card. Crypto deposits are instant and card deposits take 5 to 15 minutes. Wire withdrawals cost $25 and take two to five working days; most crypto withdrawals cost $5, and USDT on TRC20 is free.
Who it may suit
The no-minimum accounts let you start with a small amount, and the ECN account suits traders who prefer a published commission. If you want a licensed counterparty, remember that clients of the global site sign with the Saint Lucia company. Check the details on our check a broker page first.
How to open an account
The steps as we checked them. Never deposit until you have confirmed the licence.

What changed on this profile
ASIC entry moved from regulators to watch-outs: the licence does not cover retail trading accounts.
Account rows removed: only minimum (from) spreads are published, so a typical cost cannot be compared.
Profile published. Licences checked on the FSC Mauritius online public register, ASIC's AFS licensee dataset (data.gov.au, October 2026 extract) and the UAE CMA licensed companies register.
