Our notes
- CGTrade (Mauritius) Limited is on the FSC Mauritius register as an investment dealer (SEC-2.1B), licensed since 19 July 2019
- States negative balance protection in its FAQ, and the client agreement says client money is segregated
- Cent and Standard accounts have no minimum deposit; ECN commission is published ($3 per side)
- Licensed by strict regulators in the UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and the US
- UK client money is held in segregated accounts under FCA client money rules
- No deposit or withdrawal fees and no fees for opening or closing trades on the UK site; costs are in the spread
- The global client agreement is with CGTrade LC Limited, registered in Saint Lucia (company 2025-00724); that is a company registration, not a licence
- Says it holds UAE Capital Market Authority licence 20200000446; we could not find a CG FinTech company on the CMA's licensed companies register on 2026-10-20
- The ASIC licence it displays (AFSL 236783, Corner Global AU Pty Ltd) covers wholesale clients only, so it does not protect retail traders
- Leverage up to 1:1000 with a 10% stop-out
- Plus500 says Plus500CA Ltd is a CIRO investment dealer and Plus500IL is regulated by Israel's ISA. We could not find Plus500CA on CIRO's dealer list or reach the ISA register on 2026-10-20.
- Only Plus500's own platform; no MetaTrader or TradingView accounts
- The FCA has warned about clone sites using Plus500's name, including plus500un.com, plus500v.com, p500.io and p500.online
- No minimum deposit we could confirm on the current UK site; check it in the app before you fund

Risk warnings
The buttons to a broker’s website above the table are partner links: we may earn a commission if you open an account through them. That never changes the facts shown here. Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money rapidly, and most retail accounts lose money. Each broker’s own warning:
- CG FinTech: Contracts for Differences (‘CFDs’) are leveraged financial products and may incur a high level of risk whereby a small market movement or fluctuation in prices may affect the investment value greatly. It may not be appropriate for all individuals and you should not risk more than you are prepared to lose. CFDs are not traded on any exchange and they are Over-The-Counter products whereby the prices of the CFDs are derived from the underlying market. CFD traders do not own or have any rights to the underlying assets. Before deciding to trade, you should ensure that you understand the risks involved and take into account your level of trading experience. You should obtain independent financial, legal and tax advice before proceeding with any trading instruments.

Cost per lot is the typical EUR/USD spread in busy hours × $10, plus any round-turn commission, for one standard lot. “Not yet checked” means we have not confirmed that fact yet. This page compares facts; it does not rank the brokers or recommend either. Confirm costs and licences on each broker’s site and the regulator’s public register before opening an account: see how we review brokers and check a broker yourself.
