Official websites

  • axi-solaris.com

Type the address yourself or use a bookmark. Check it matches the website listed for the firm on the regulator’s register.

Watch out for look-alike sites

We have not recorded any look-alike sites for Axi. That does not mean none exist.

A clone firm copies a real broker’s name, licence number and branding to take deposits. The register shows the genuine firm, so the surest check is the contact details: if the website, email or phone number you were given is not the one on the register, treat it as a clone. Cost per lot = typical EUR/USD spread × $10 + round-turn commission, for one standard lot (100,000 units) in busy hours. Swap and other fees are extra. Trading costs explained

Leverage and margin

Leverage lets you open a position bigger than your deposit, so losses grow as fast as gains. The caps below are the most Axi allows; you can always use less.

Stop-out
20% (liquidation level, St Vincent company)When your equity falls to 20% (liquidation level, St Vincent company) of your used margin, the platform starts closing your trades, usually the biggest loser first, until the level recovers.

Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Without negative balance protection, a fast market can gap past the stop-out and leave you owing money. Work out your margin level

Features

Strengths

  • Licensed by ASIC, the FCA and CySEC, all strict regulators
  • Published commissions per currency on the Premium account (for example $4.50 or €4.00 per standard contract)
  • Bank transfers and payments under US$50,000 a month are free to deposit

Watch out for

  • International clients join AxiTrader LLC, a St Vincent and the Grenadines company (4303 LLC 2025) that is registered, not licensed; its risk warning says you can lose substantially more than your initial investment.
  • Axi publishes minimum spreads only, not typical spreads
  • The St Vincent company charges a monthly inactivity fee after 12 months and may charge US$25 for withdrawals under US$50
  • The FSCA's OTC derivative provider list shows AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd's application as Withdrawn, so Axi has no South African licence we could confirm.

Overview

Axi, formerly AxiTrader, was founded in Sydney in 2007. It offers forex and CFDs on MetaTrader 4 and 5 and its own Axi Trading Platform, with three accounts: Standard (cost in the spread), Premium (raw spreads plus commission) and Elite for high-volume traders. It also runs Axi Select, a funded-trader programme.

Regulation and safety

We checked these on the regulators’ registers on 20 October 2026: AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd (ASIC AFSL 318232), Axi Financial Services (UK) Limited (FCA 466201), Solaris EMEA Ltd (CySEC 433/23, approved domain axi-solaris.com) and AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd in Dubai (DFSA F003742, with a retail endorsement). An older UK company, AxiCorp Limited (FCA 509746), is listed as no longer authorised. On the FSCA’s list of OTC derivative providers, AxiCorp’s application is marked Withdrawn.

The international website is run by AxiTrader LLC, a St Vincent and the Grenadines company registered there in 2025. That is a company registration, not a financial licence. AxiTrader is a member of The Financial Commission, a private dispute-resolution body, which is not a regulator. Clients of this company have no compensation scheme. Read forex broker regulation for what each layer gives you.

Costs

The Standard account has no commission, with EUR/USD spreads from 0.68 pips and gold from 16 cents. Premium starts at 0.0 pips on EUR/USD plus a commission of $4.50 per standard contract on a USD account (£3.50 on GBP, €4.00 on EUR). Elite has lower commission and a recommended deposit of $25,000. Axi publishes minimum spreads only, so we have not listed typical figures. Swaps apply overnight. Inactivity costs 10 a month in most account currencies after 12 months. See the trading costs guide.

Platforms and tools

MetaTrader 4 and 5 are offered alongside the Axi Trading Platform and app. Expert Advisors can run on MetaTrader. A swap-free account is available. Compare platforms in MT4 vs MT5.

Deposits and withdrawals

Bank transfers are free with no monthly limit. Card and other payments are free below US$50,000 a month, then 3%. Withdrawals are free above US$50 or for the full balance; smaller withdrawals may cost US$25. Card withdrawals go back to the card up to the amount you deposited.

Who it may suit

The account set-up fits MetaTrader traders who want raw-spread pricing with a published commission. UK, EU and Australian residents get a strict-tier licence; everyone else joins the unlicensed St Vincent company. Check the company with our broker check and start on a demo account.

How to open an account

The steps as we checked them. Never deposit until you have confirmed the licence.

  1. Check which company you will join

Australians join AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd (ASIC), UK residents Axi Financial Services (UK) Limited (FCA) and EU residents Solaris EMEA Ltd (CySEC). Clients elsewhere join AxiTrader LLC in St Vincent, which is not licensed. The company is named in your client agreement.

  2. Apply online

Give your personal details and answer the questions about your trading experience.

  3. Verify your identity

Upload ID and proof of address. All payments must come from an account in your own name.

  4. Choose an account

Standard (no commission), Premium (raw spreads plus $4.50 per standard contract) or Elite (lower commission, recommended deposit $25,000).

  5. Fund and practise

Axi recommends a first deposit of $100 for Standard and Premium. Try the free demo account before trading live.
