Client protection

Regulation and entities

Your protection depends on which company holds your account, and that depends on where you live. Each row is one licensed company. What regulation means

Official websites

  • trendo.com

Type the address yourself or use a bookmark. Check it matches the website listed for the firm on the regulator’s register.

Watch out for look-alike sites

We have not recorded any look-alike sites for Trendo. That does not mean none exist.

A clone firm copies a real broker’s name, licence number and branding to take deposits. The register shows the genuine firm, so the surest check is the contact details: if the website, email or phone number you were given is not the one on the register, treat it as a clone. Accounts and costs

Cost per lot = typical EUR/USD spread × $10 + round-turn commission, for one standard lot (100,000 units) in busy hours. Swap and other fees are extra. Trading costs explained

Leverage and margin

Leverage lets you open a position bigger than your deposit, so losses grow as fast as gains. The caps below are the most Trendo allows; you can always use less.

Asset classRetail clients
Real and demo accounts1:25 to 1:2000
Balances below $50Up to 1:500
PAMM accountsUp to 1:500
Around major news and market open or closeCut to 1:500 or 1:200
Margin call
100%When your equity falls to 100% of the margin your open trades use, you get a warning and usually cannot open new trades.
Stop-out
70%When your equity falls to 70% of your used margin, the platform starts closing your trades, usually the biggest loser first, until the level recovers.

Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Without negative balance protection, a fast market can gap past the stop-out and leave you owing money. Work out your margin level

Overview

Trendo offers CFDs on forex, gold, crypto and stocks through its own app, desktop program and web trader. It has one live account type (Real), plus demo, Islamic, PAMM, copy trading and bonus accounts. The website is published in several languages, including Persian, Arabic and Turkish.

Regulation and safety

The website names the operator as TRENDING MARKETS (INTERNATIONAL) LTD, registered in Mauritius under number 227756. The FSC Mauritius register lists that company with an SEC-2.1B investment dealer licence dated 28 October 2025, at the address Trendo gives. The register does not show licence numbers; Trendo gives GB25205094. The licensing page also calls the company “Trendo Ltd”, a trade name.

Trendo also lists Trendo LLC in Yerevan, Armenia, and says some clients are served through it. What it shows for Armenia is a company registration and a charter update; it does not cite a financial services licence for that company. FSC Mauritius is a mid-tier regulator; see our broker regulation guide.

Costs

The Real account quotes spreads from 0 pips plus $3 commission per lot. Trendo does not publish typical spreads, so the real cost per trade is hard to compare. Swaps apply unless you switch to the Islamic account. The trading costs guide shows what to check.

Platforms and tools

Trading happens on Trendo’s own platform, on phone, desktop and web, with an economic calendar and charting built in. There is no MetaTrader. If you rely on MT4 or MT5 tools, read MT4 vs MT5 first.

Deposits and withdrawals

Trendo accepts Visa, Mastercard and several cryptocurrencies, and charges no fee of its own. Withdrawals need identity checks and go back through the methods you used to deposit. Each deposit or withdrawal must be at least $10. Payments may be processed by TrendoPay Services Ltd, a Cyprus company acting as payment agent. Crypto deposits earn a 10% bonus that cannot be transferred.

Who it may suit

The single account and $10 minimum are simple to understand. Very high leverage and bonus offers make it easy to take on too much risk. Ask which company will hold your money, and check its licence on our check a broker page.

How to open an account

The steps as we checked them. Never deposit until you have confirmed the licence.

  1. Check which company you will join

Trendo says you are served by Trending Markets (International) Ltd in Mauritius or Trendo LLC in Armenia, depending on where you live. Only the Mauritius company holds a licence we could confirm.

  2. Register and verify

Sign up in the app or on the website. Withdrawals and bank deposits are only enabled after identity verification.

  3. Choose your base currency

The Real account can be opened in one of 11 base currencies, including USD, EUR and GBP.

  4. Fund and trade

Deposit at least $10 by card or cryptocurrency from an account in your own name. Practise on the free demo account first.

What changed on this profile

  1. Account rows removed: only minimum (from) spreads are published, so a typical cost cannot be compared.

  2. Profile published. Licence checked on the FSC Mauritius online public register.
