Head to head

DeltaFX vs Opofinance

DeltaFX has no licence we could confirm on a regulator's register. Opofinance holds only an offshore registration (International). The licence that applies to you depends on where you live, so check which company you would contract with before comparing anything else.

Minimum deposits start at $50 at DeltaFX and $100 at Opofinance. Neither offers negative balance protection. Only Opofinance offers segregated client money.

Our notes

Strengths
  • Five account types with published margin call and stop-out levels
  • Swap-free versions of every account
  • Low minimum deposit ($50) on most accounts
  • Sister company Opo Group Ltd is listed by the FSA Seychelles as a securities dealer
  • The client agreement says client money is held in segregated accounts
  • Five platforms, including MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView
Watch out for
  • Not listed as regulated here: its Anjouan (AOFA) licence L16182/DFX shows as active on AOFA's own register, but the Central Bank of the Comoros has said AOFA is not recognised and cannot issue financial licences.
  • Its only licence is from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (AOFA). On 8 December 2025 the Central Bank of the Comoros said AOFA is not recognised in the Union of the Comoros and has no legal power to issue financial licences.
  • AOFA's verification page lists company number 16183 (DeltaFX's site says 16182), incorporation on 20 October 2025 and a licence end date of 20 October 2026.
  • Commission rates on the commission-based accounts are not published on the account pages
  • Leverage up to 1:1000 and no published negative balance protection
  • The published client agreement is with Opo Group LLC in St Vincent, which is a company registration, not a securities licence
  • The ASIC licence only allows general advice; it does not license the trading accounts
  • Says OPO Finance (Pty) Ltd is authorised by the FSCA (licence 54594); we could not confirm it on the FSCA register on 2026-10-20 (the register could not be reached).
  • Its risk warning says you can lose more than your deposit, and we found no negative balance protection; leverage goes up to 1:2000

Risk warnings

The buttons to a broker’s website above the table are partner links: we may earn a commission if you open an account through them. That never changes the facts shown here. Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money rapidly, and most retail accounts lose money. Each broker’s own warning:

  • Opofinance: Trading involves a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all traders or investors. You should carefully consider your trading goals or objectives, financial situations, level of experience and needs before entering into margin trading with Opofinance. There is a risk of losing substantially more than the investor’s initial investment. Hence, we advise you to only trade the products if you fully understand the risks involved, and can afford them.

Other head-to-head pages

Cost per lot is the typical EUR/USD spread in busy hours × $10, plus any round-turn commission, for one standard lot. “Not yet checked” means we have not confirmed that fact yet. This page compares facts; it does not rank the brokers or recommend either. Confirm costs and licences on each broker’s site and the regulator’s public register before opening an account: see how we review brokers and check a broker yourself.
