Get your certificateEUR/USD, GBP/JPY and USD/CAD are all “currency pairs”, but they behave as differently as three different markets. They move at different hours, react to different news, cost different amounts to trade and swing by very different distances.
This course takes the main pairs one at a time, then shows you how to size across them, how they move together, and how to choose the few you will actually trade. It builds on Forex Foundations and Fundamental Analysis.
Lessons

- 4GBP/USD: volatility and the UK calendarWhy cable usually swings further than EUR/USD, when UK news lands, and how to size it so the money at risk stays the same.
- 5The commodity pairs: AUD, NZD and CADAUD/USD, NZD/USD and USD/CAD lean on what their countries export and on global risk mood. Learn which way each pair tends to move, why USD/CAD reads upside down, and when the commodity link breaks.
- 6USD/CHF and the safe-haven francWhy the Swiss franc is bought when markets are scared, why the Swiss National Bank pushes back, and why USD/CHF usually mirrors EUR/USD.
- 7Crosses: EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY and GBP/JPYA cross is two dollar pairs with the dollar cancelled out. Learn to build its price, predict which news moves it, and value its pip in your own currency.

- 9Sizing across pairsThe same lot size is a different bet on every pair. Learn to fix the money at risk first and let each pair's pip value and stop distance set the size.
