Client protection

Regulation and entities

Your protection depends on which company holds your account, and that depends on where you live. Each row is one licensed company. What regulation means

Regulation not yet checked. Do not deposit until you have found the licence on a regulator’s register.

No register to check: we could not find this firm on a regulator’s public register. A licence you cannot look up gives you no protection you can rely on. How to check a licence

Websites

Official websites

  • wingomarkets.com
  • clientx.wingomarkets.com

Type the address yourself or use a bookmark. Check it matches the website listed for the firm on the regulator’s register.

Watch out for look-alike sites

We have not recorded any look-alike sites for Wingo Markets. That does not mean none exist.

A clone firm copies a real broker’s name, licence number and branding to take deposits. The register shows the genuine firm, so the surest check is the contact details: if the website, email or phone number you were given is not the one on the register, treat it as a clone. Check a broker step by step

Accounts and costs

Account types and costs not yet checked.

Cost per lot = typical EUR/USD spread × $10 + round-turn commission, for one standard lot (100,000 units) in busy hours. Swap and other fees are extra. Trading costs explained

Leverage and margin

Leverage lets you open a position bigger than your deposit, so losses grow as fast as gains. The caps below are the most Wingo Markets allows; you can always use less. For comparison, strict regulators cap retail leverage at 1:30 on major pairs.

Leverage by asset class not yet checked. Headline retail leverage: 1:500.

Margin call
100%When your equity falls to 100% of the margin your open trades use, you get a warning and usually cannot open new trades.
Stop-out
30%When your equity falls to 30% of your used margin, the platform starts closing your trades, usually the biggest loser first, until the level recovers.

Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Without negative balance protection, a fast market can gap past the stop-out and leave you owing money. Work out your margin level

Features

Strengths

  • Low published minimum deposit ($50 on the Starter account)
  • Account conditions, margin call and stop-out levels are published for every account
  • Social trading account for copying other traders

Watch out for

  • Says it holds International Brokerage and Clearing House licence T2023302 from the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA); we could not confirm it on MISA's register on 2026-10-20 because the register site blocked our access.
  • The Central Bank of the Comoros said on 8 December 2025 that MISA is not recognised in the Union of the Comoros and has no legal power to issue financial licences.
  • FinCEN registration as a money services business is an anti-money-laundering registration, not a licence to offer trading
  • Leverage up to 1:500 and no published negative balance protection

Overview

Wingo Markets is a MetaTrader 5 broker that started in 2023. Its website names Wingo Group LTD, incorporated in Mwali (Mohéli), part of the Union of the Comoros, under company number HY00523010, with a registered office in Podgorica, Montenegro. It offers three main accounts (Starter, ECN and Pro), a social trading account and leverage of up to 1:500. Much of its marketing is in Persian, Arabic and Kurdish as well as English.

Regulation and safety

Wingo says it is authorised by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) under licence T2023302. We tried to check this on MISA’s register on 20 October 2026, but the site blocked our access, so we could not confirm it. Separately, the Central Bank of the Comoros published a notice on 8 December 2025 saying MISA is not recognised in the Union of the Comoros and has no legal power to issue financial licences, and that no forex brokerage licence has been issued in the country.

Wingo also cites a US FinCEN money services business registration. That is an anti-money-laundering registration; FinCEN states on its own search page that it does not approve or endorse any business that registers. It is not a licence to offer leveraged trading.

No strict or standard regulator supervises the company you would join. There is no compensation scheme and no published policy on segregated client money or negative balance protection. Our guide to forex broker regulation explains what that means in practice, and you can run your own broker check.

Costs

The Starter account has no commission and FX spreads from 1.5 pips. ECN quotes from 0.5 pips plus $3 per lot per side ($6 round turn), and Pro from 0.1 pips plus $2 per side ($4 round turn). Wingo publishes “from” spreads only, not typical spreads, so you cannot work out an average cost per lot from its pages. The trading costs guide shows how to measure it yourself on a demo.

Platforms and tools

Trading runs on MetaTrader 5 on desktop, web and mobile, with a money-management add-on and a copy-trading service. See MT4 vs MT5 for how the platform works.

Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits are by Wingo Pay, Mastercard, USDT on the TRC20 and BEP20 networks, Volet and AdvCash. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so check the address carefully.

Who it may suit

The set-up is aimed at traders who want high leverage and crypto funding and who accept that the company is not supervised by a recognised regulator. If strong client protection matters to you, read our guide to forex broker scams before you deposit.
